Some Dating Tips you should keep in mind while creating a profile online.

Make sure to jot down your thoughts before actually posting them online.

1. Organize your words and check your spellings. You don’t want to be hasty and careless if you’re looking to attract your potential soul mate!

2. Be relaxed when you write the profile. Try not to lie, but don’t reveal anything that you don’t want to. (more…)

When Love Hurts
A guide for girls on love, respect and abuse in relationships

Being in love is supposed to feel great.
But sometimes it just feels confusing.

What can you do if you are being hurt, controlled or treated badly in a relationship?

Have you ever felt like this?
If so, you’re not alone.
You can burst the bubble.

This helps you to work out what’s okay in a family and what’s not.

It tells you what you can do if someone in your family is hurting or abusing you or another member of your family.

What is abuse in relationships?

You might be confused about whether what’s happening to you is abuse. This info helps you understand the different kinds of abuse.

Abuse or violence in a relationship is a pattern of behaviour that one person uses against another to intimidate them and to get them to do what they want.

Abuseis not just physical violence. Emotional or sexual abuse can be just as harmful as physical violence.

Sometimes people call this sort of abuse ‘dating violence’ or ‘domestic violence’. Research shows that in relationships, males are most likely to be the abusers, and females are most likely to be the victims. Females can also be abusive, in lesbian and in straight relationships. But here we will be referring to male-to-female abuse in relationships, but the ideas are also relevant to relationships where it is females who are abusive. (more…)

1. Once a woman is dressed for any occasion, never ask, “are you going to wear that!?” or, “is that what you’re wearing!?” These types of comments do not create a mood. But if you feel she may need a coat or different type shoe, a tactful suggestion may be appropriate.

2. Never talk about past relationships or other women even if she asks. People are naturally curious so she may really want to know about your past, but hold your tongue, you have better things to talk about. If she insists on talking about your past, mention how the past is not important to you and how excited about the future you are.

3. Avoid talking about yourself or your work.

4. Never correct or embarrass your lover in front of other people.

5. Never assume she understands what you are talking about.

6. Never compare her to another woman, even if it is her best friend, mother or sister.

7. Never assume she wants to do the same thing you do. Most people like to plan what to do, not be told.

1. When a girl says she’s sad, but she isn’t crying, it means she’s crying in her heart.

2. When she ignores you after you’ve done something wrong, it’s best to give her some time to cool down before touching her heart with an apology.

3. A girl can’t find anything to hate about the guy she loves (which is why it is so hard for her to ‘get over him’ after the relationship’s over.)

4. If a girl loves a guy, he will always be on her mind every minute of the day, even though
she flirts with other guys.

5. When the guy she likes smiles and stares deep into her eyes, she will melt.

6. A girl likes to hear compliments, but usually not sure how to react to them.

7. When a particular guy flirts with a girl very often, a girl would start thinking the guy likes
her. So if you treat a girl just as a friend, go easy on the smiles and stare ok?

8. If you don’t like a girl who likes you, break it to her gently.

9. If a girl starts avoiding you after you reject her, leave her alone for a while. If you still
treat her as a friend, talk to her.

10. Girls enjoy talking about what they feel. Music, poetry, drawings and writing are ways of
expressing themselves (which explains why most girls like writing journals).

11. Never tell a girl that she is useless in anyway.

12. Being too serious can turn a girl off. (more…)

When you divorce me, Carry me out in your arms . . .

On my wedding day, I carried my wife in my arms. The bridal car stopped in front of our one-room flat. My buddies insisted that I carry her out of the car in my arms. So I carried her into our home. She was then plump and shy. I was a strong and happy bridegroom.

This was the scene of ten years ago.

The following days were as simple as a cup of pure water: we had a kid, I went into business and tried to make more money. When the assets were steadily increasing, the affections between u seemed to ebb. She was a civil servant. Every morning we left home together and got home almost at the same time. Our kid was studying in a boarding school.

Our marriage life seemed to be enviably happy.! But the calm life was more likely to be affected by unpredictable changes.

Then Dew came into my life..It was a sunny day. I stood on a spacious balcony. Dew hugged me from behind. My heart once again was immersed in her stream of love. This was the apartment I bought for her.

Dew said, “You are the kind of man who best draws girls’ eyeballs. Her words suddenly reminded me of my wife. When we just married, my wife said, “Men like you, once successful, will be very attractive to girls.” Thinking of this, I became somewhat hesitant. I knew I had betrayed my
wife. But I couldn’t help doing so.

I moved Dew’s hands aside and said,” You go to select some furniture, O.K.? I’ve got something to do in the company.” Obviously she was unhappy, because I had promised to go and see it with her. At the moment, the idea of divorce became clearer in my mind although it used to be something impossible to me.

However, I found it rather difficult to tell my wife about it. No matter how mildly I mentioned it to her, she would be deeply hurt. Honestly, she was a good wife. Every evening she was busy with work around the house. I was sitting in front of the TV. Then we watched TV together. Or, I was lounging before the computer, visualizing Dew’s body. This was the means of my entertainment.

One day I said to her in a slight joking way, “suppose we divorce, what will you do?” She stared at me for a few seconds without a word. Apparently she believed that ‘divorce’ was something too far away from her. I couldn’t imagine how she would react once she got to know I was serious.

When my wife went to my office, Dew had just stepped out. Almost all the staff looked at my wife with a sympathetic eye and tried to hide something while talking with her. She seemed to have got some hint. She gently smiled at my subordinates. But I read some hurt in her eyes.

Once again, Dew said to me, “He Ning, divorce her, O.K.? Then we live together.” I nodded. I knew I could not hesitate any more.

When my wife served the last dish, I held her hand. “I’ve got something to tell you,”I said.

She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes. Suddenly I didn’t know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. “I want a divorce.” I raised a serious topic calmly. She didn’t seem to be much annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, “why..?”.
“I’m serious.” I avoided her question. This so-called answer turned her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, “you are not a man!”.

And that night, we didn’t talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer, because my heart had gone to Dew.

With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company. She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. I felt a pain in my heart. The woman who had been living ten years with me would become a stranger one day. But I could not take back what I had said. (more…)
