My Dad always told me that we could never measure our wealth by money but by our friends. I’m sure our friendship has made me rich!!!
Tiny but wonderful seeds of blessings are sprinkled on earth each day… and I just caught one that’s so nice and true… And it’s you!

A water bearer in India had two large pots, each hung on each end of a pole which he carried across his neck. One of the pots had a crack in it, and while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water at the end of the long walk from the stream to the
master’s house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.

Here’s the scenario: Julie, a hardworking secretary, lent money to her good friend Ray; $1300 to be exact. Ray had just moved to a new town and claimed that he needed two new suits: one for an upcoming wedding and one to wear on job interviews. Ray lived in a beautiful penthouse. He had a degree in Computer Science and was accustomed to the finer things in life – designer labels, frequent travel, and spa week-ends. When Ray told Julie he would repay her and signed a paper promising to do so, Julie didn’t think anything of it.

Yesterday I received a phone call from a friend whom I last talked to almost two years ago.
Like other people, I was surprised to hear her voice.
She heard from a mutual friend that I just set up a fitness studio and she wanted to ask me about my new venture and as well as what’s going on in my life.
To my surprise again, she told me that she was retrenched from her job 6 months ago. She admitted that she was very sad about the layoff. She didn’t know what she did wrong in her job that she was retrenched.

There were two childhood buddies who went through school and college and even joined the army together. War broke out and they were fighting in the same unit. One night they were ambushed.
Bullets were flying all over and out of the darkness came a voice, “Harry, please come and help me.”
Harry immediately recognized the voice of his childhood buddy, Bill. He asked the captain if he could go.
